October 31: a day that most people know as Halloween, and it is, but I must recall another very significant event that happened on this day. In 1517, Martin Luther, driven by the truth of the scripture, nailed 95 theses to door of Wittenburg Germany. These theses defined the discrepancies that Martin Luther saw with the Roman Catholic church that violated scripture. Little did he know that this would be the beginning of a movement that we refer to as the Reformation. Our Sovereign God was at work in the life of this devout man.
I will be hopefully posting a tribute to Reformation Day on my homepage. As we near the day, I would enjoy any comments or historical facts that might broaden our understanding of this momentous occasion.
Our God be praised for His mercy in the lives of sinful men.
Grace,
Ricky
