On March 5, 2006, God took my Aunt Arlene to be with Him. Although, this seems tragic, it is not. She will no longer battle sin or its consequences. She is at peace, and most importantly she is with Jesus.

It is hard for those who are here and who were closest to her. I am not minimizing the void that is left. But, we know that this is only for a moment. We demonstrate the hope that we have in Christ by rejoicing in the promise that God does all things for His glory and out of His good pleasure.

Aunt Arlene finally graduated with her degree from Northland two years ago. This is a picture we took when we went up to Northland to see her and Eunice graduate. Remember, “life is about God.”

This is “grace at work.”
