I am chompin’ at the bit! In less than two days I will be leaving for Albania. Before I leave I have two tests and a paper to write. I have to pack and do a few other odds n’ends…I want to leave right now! – but I must remember that there is a time and place for everything.
Today I was reminded by my wonderful boss about the priority of being faithful. I needed it. I have to realize that keeping my word reflects the Gospel. It shows that I have complete faith and confidence in a sovereign God. My “yes” need to be “yes,” and my “no” needs to be “no.” I must be slow to speak so that my words are true and right. And when I speak, I must follow through. I must keep my eyes fixed on course that I am walking and not be side-tracked by other opportunities that may distract me. By God’s grace, I will become faithful. I praise God for His faithfulness. Speaking of which, I must study and write my paper.
God is so good to instruct and chasten me as a loving Father. I must fix my eyes on Christ and rest in His faithful care.
I hope to post before I leave. Glory and praise be to the Father of lights Who doesn’t change.
